The porcelain body is decorated in a deep blue transferware layout depicting the traditional Blue Willow landscape — pagodas, bridges, and weeping willow trees — rendered with crisp tonal contrast. An intentional, heavy network of crazing lines runs uniformly through the glaze to mimic the antiqued patina of early export wares. Perfectly scaled to function as a premium indoor planter for a small potted topiary or white orchid, it makes a striking statement on an entry console or dining sideboard.

Produced by the United Wilson Porcelain Factory, operating as a major decorative export producer out of Hong Kong and Macau. The base bears the circular blue underglaze factory backstamp featuring a crown and laurel wreath crest over an “1895” banner, accompanied by a partial vintage paper inventory label.

This piece features the iconic Blue Willow landscape variant produced by United Wilson during their late 20th century revival era. While these decorative cachepots are discontinued, standalone flared bucket planters with integrated shell handles remain highly sought after by decorators assembling mixed Chinoiserie vignette displays.

Original Intended Use: Decorative interior cachepot planter or mantle vase.
