Custom-compounded metallic oxide glazes create a deep, glass-like impasto relief texture. Fine Art Verso & Signature Note: Factual confirmation of the artist's incised signature 'NANNING DE VRIES' hand-painted in white script in the lower right corner. The verso retains its original mid-century structural timber backing board framework, original iron eyelet loops, and a heavy-duty wire mounting system with vintage handwritten studio stock codes 'L 87 G' visible in pencil on the upper rear frame rail.

Original Intended Use: Premium architectural installation or residential fine art feature wall. Alternate Suggested Use: Mid-century statement artwork above a sideboard, fireplace mantel, or tiled alcove entrance.
