This is an authentic Georgian-era stipple and aquatint engraving painted by Thomas Rowlandson (1757–1827), one of the most significant English caricaturists and illustrators of the late 18th century. The lower margin features printed text attributions identifying the artist as Thomas Rowlandson and the engraver as the celebrated sporting printmaker Samuel Alken (1756–1815), originally published by J. Harris in London.

Engraved and published in London, England, circa 1786–1792, making this item over 240 years old.

Very Good Antique Condition — Sound Documented Heritage. The heavy 18th-century paper substrate remains structurally intact, flat, and stable. Shows uniform age-appropriate paper toning, mild isolated storage moisture marks along the top mount border margin, and minor surface character marks from age. The black and gold frame is structurally solid; light age wear to the rear veneer corners is present.
