Original Intended Use: Premium residential high-tea or formal dinner service for individual portions of gelato, sorbets, gateaux, and fruit tarts.

Alternate Suggested Use: Elegant statement serving flatware for gourmet dessert platters, decorative high-character food styling props for a professional bakery or catering boutique, or a spectacular gift for a dedicated retro host.

More Details

Did you Know?

Did you know that the distinct flared, fan-shaped handle design on this set is known as a "Palmette" pattern, which became a signature decorative element during the height of the 1930s Art Deco movement?

The Angora Silver Plate Company was founded in Birmingham, England, in 1919 and became world-famous for their premium presentation flatware collections.

Following World War II, when most silver production was strictly limited by government order to Sheffield foundries, Angora was one of the elite few Birmingham firms permitted to restart premium flatware manufacturing due to their exceptional casting reputation.

The deep natural patina on these pieces is a result of true silver sulphide oxidation, a badge of authenticity that collectors look for Because it instantly differentiates original early 20th-century electroplates from modern, bright machine-stamped steel replicas.

Leave the tarnish as-is for that sought-after historic look, or easily restore them to a brilliant mirror-shine using a standard silver polishing cloth.
