Ardbeg Distillery, founded in 1815 on the Isle of Islay, Scotland, is widely regarded as producing one of the world's most heavily peated single malt whiskies. The distillery is a member of the LVMH group and has a fiercely loyal global following through its Ardbeg Committee — one of the largest whisky fan clubs in the world with over 130,000 members.

The Shortie glass was designed as an official distillery nosing vessel, with its bulbous form specifically engineered to concentrate the complex phenolic and peaty aromas of Ardbeg's expressions. Official distillery glassware like this set is produced in limited runs and is not widely available outside of distillery visits and committee events.
