Vintage Royal Vale Bone China Cake Plates & Saucers — Miranda Pattern 4783, Set of 7.

A charming set of 3 saucers and 4 cake plates in the beautiful "Miranda" pattern (No. 4783) by Royal Vale. Featuring a vibrant multi-colour floral spray with a prominent pink rose, yellow blossoms, and smaller purple and blue flowers, bordered by a soft mint green seafoam wide band encircling the rim. Finished with a thin gold gilt trim on the outer scalloped edge and a secondary gold ring bordering the central white well.

The "GENUINE BONE CHINA Vale MADE IN LONGTON ENGLAND" backstamp dates these pieces to the 1953–1964 production window — a highly collectible era for Royal Vale china.

Original Intended Use: Serving afternoon tea cakes and pastries for a mixed group of guests.

The "Vale" backstamp was a registered trademark of Colclough China (at the Vale Works), which eventually became part of Ridgway Potteries Ltd.

The printed backstamp "GENUINE BONE CHINA Vale MADE IN LONGTON ENGLAND" was primarily used between 1953 and 1964.
