Did you Know?

The Indiana Glass Company was founded in 1907 in Dunkirk, Indiana, and became one of America's most prolific pressed glassware manufacturers of the 20th century. The King's Crown (Thumbprint) pattern was originally produced by Adams & Company in the 1880s as "Excelsior" pattern crystal, then revived by Indiana Glass in the 1950s–70s in a range of colours including amber, ruby red, and crystal. The amber colourway is particularly prized by collectors for its warm honey-gold tone that glows beautifully under candlelight — making a complete set of 12 an exceptionally rare find.

Origin & Era

Made in USA, 1960s–1970s.

Excellent vintage condition. Glass is perfectly clear with zero dishwasher clouding. 1 of the 12 glasses features a tiny spot of rough factory mould texture along its vertical manufacturing seam line — an original production trait, completely smooth to the touch and not a post-market chip or crack. The other 11 glasses are pristine.
