Bud Vases: Koransha Kinrande Porcelain Bud Vase

Exquisite Koransha Kinrande Porcelain Bud Vase featuring a Rich, Dramatic Matte Black Glazed Background.

The body is beautifully hand-painted with a vibrant, asymmetric polychrome floral design showcasing traditional Japanese peonies (Botan), iris blooms, and a beautifully detailed blue songbird perched on a gnarled tree trunk.

The floral arrangement and bird motif are intricately detailed with shades of cobalt blue, soft turquoise, jade green, and salmon pink, all masterfully outlined and highlighted with fine gold gilt accent trim. The contrast between the velvety matte black ground and the glossy enamel illustrations creates a stunning textural depth. The interior of the vase is fully glazed in a contrasting clean white porcelain glaze, which terminates smoothly at the upper inner rim.

Display Suggestion: Place this piece where it can catch targeted warm lighting. The subtle gold gilt framing the flower petals and bird silhouette will catch the light and glimmer elegantly against the dark matte background.

Original Intended Use: A single-stem porcelain floral bud vase (Ikebana style) or delicate decorative table accent.

These are standard cosmetic deposits from historical handling and can be safely cleaned and lifted by the buyer with a gentle, non-abrasive lukewarm soak using mild dish soap. Light surface scuffing on the unglazed base foot ring from vintage display shelf contact.
