Dinnerware: Wiesenthal Porzellan Germany "Herb Garden" Basil Salad Bowl

This lovely vintage salad bowl brings a classic layer of European ceramic history, rich botanical detail, and charming country farmhouse character straight onto a contemporary dining table or open kitchen shelf layout. Manufactured in Germany by Wiesenthal Porzellan, this heavy-gauge porcelain bowl belongs to their celebrated "Herb Garden" archival collection. The deep white basin features a vibrant botanical study of a flowering Basil plant (Ocimum Basilicum), beautifully framed by a rich forest-green rim band and repeating leaf garland borders. Form-engineered to be tough enough for freezer-to-oven utility, this vintage piece serves as a completely functional everyday serving workhorse and a beautiful cottagecore display asset.

Authentically produced by Wiesenthal Porzellan in Germany. This line is highly regarded by kitchen curators for its heavy, durable feldspathic porcelain body that resists thermal shock and retains heat beautifully. The base features the clear green factory crest reading: "Wiesenthal Porzellan Germany - Herb Garden No. 46418", along with its official freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safety metrics. The exterior and interior walls hold a deep, mirror-smooth reflective shine. The upper green rim line features a small, original factory glaze skip where the green pigmentation naturally parted during firing, neatly exposing the smooth white porcelain underneath as a testament to its authentic mid-century production journey.

Original Intended Use: Large family salad service, pasta tossing, or fresh harvest display. Alternate Suggested Use: A beautiful fruit basin on a country cottage kitchen island counter, a textural staging prop for rustic culinary photography, or a unique gift for a botanical porcelain enthusiast.
