Vases: Kaiser West Germany "Simone" Porcelain Trumpet Vase

Manufactured in West Germany by the legendary luxury house Kaiser, this archival trumpet vase features their celebrated "Simone" pattern run.

The design showcases a beautiful, wide-flared conical mouth rim tapering into a heavy tiered pedestal base ring. The front face is decorated with a vibrant botanical illustration of an open ochre-orange copper rose (looks like hibiscus to me) with delicate green and foliage, highlighted by hand-applied 24-karat gold leaf vein accents that capture ambient light beautifully.

The base features the official blue underglaze crown stamp reading: "AK KAISER W. GERMANY", explicitly paired with the gold cursive script pattern title "Simone" and the factory mould coordinate "66". The central copper floral transfer is detailed with hand-painted 24k gold leaf highlights along the outer petal edges and trailing botanical stems, applied before its final setting inside a low-temperature decorating furnace. Thrown from high-tempered German white porcelain clay that offers an incredibly smooth, mirror-like white glaze reflection and subtle structural translucency under direct light.

Flawless and holding complete factory pattern backstamps, this 50-year-old treasure serves as a premium standalone sculptural anchor or a functional vessel for small spring bud arrangements.

Original Intended Use: High-status residential cabinet display, individual spring blossom vase, or luxury parlour accent. Alternate Suggested Use: A spectacular texturized staging prop system for boutique lifestyle photography, an elegant makeup brush organizer on a marble bathroom vanity console, or a unique gift for a European porcelain collector.

Did you Know?

The historic porcelain house of Kaiser was originally founded in 1872 by cobbler's son August Alboth in Coburg, eventually relocating to the famed kaolin-rich valleys of Staffelstein, Bavaria.

During the 1970s, the workshop launched the 'Simone' collection to celebrate classic European garden cultivars, using specialized mineral slips to capture the rich, warm copper-orange skin gradients of late-autumn roses.
