Coffee Tea Service: Poole Pottery Cameo Service, 26

Rare and expansive mid-century modern Poole Pottery "Cameo" coffee and tea service.

This 26-piece instant collection features the highly sought-after two-tone Celadon Green (sage green) glossy exterior glaze beautifully offset by a clean, crisp cream-white interior.

Utilizing the smooth, iconic "Streamline" silhouette originally conceptualized in the 1930s by John Adams, this specific glossy glaze variation debuted in the late 1950s and remains a masterclass in post-war British ceramic design.

Original Intended Use: Premium morning coffee, afternoon tea service, and formal mid-century dining hospitality.

Alternate Suggested Use: High-end display cabinet feature, retro prop styling for film/photography, or creative tabletop styling using the cups as individual dessert/mousse servers.

More Details

This massive, hosting-ready set includes a tall, elegant coffee/hot water pot featuring its original white-knob lid plus a rare bonus replacement lid.

It comes complete with a beautifully curved milk creamer pitcher, a lidded sugar bowl resting on its own dedicated saucer, and an impressive 11 complete cup-and-saucer duos.

Perfect for vintage collectors, retro kitchen enthusiasts, or mid-century home staging.

Did you Know?

Poole Pottery, based in Poole, Dorset, England, was founded in 1873 and became one of Britain's most celebrated studio potteries. Famous for its innovative two-tone glaze combinations and the iconic Streamline shape range — originally designed by John Adams in the 1930s — Poole's mid-century wares are now among the most actively collected British ceramics worldwide. The Cameo celadon green glaze, introduced in the late 1950s, was a deliberate response to the post-war appetite for clean, modernist design and remains one of the most recognisable and desirable Poole colourways among serious collectors today.

Origin & Era

Made in England, 1950s-1960s.
