Vintage Termocrisa honey gold glass baking dish — made in Mexico, 1970s–1980s.

Made by Termocrisa (later Vitrocrisa), a Mexican glassware manufacturer that produced heat-resistant glass bakeware comparable in style and function to American brands like Pyrex and Fire-King. Ovenproof and safe for conventional ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers.

The warm honey gold tone makes this a beautiful oven-to-table piece — equally at home serving a fresh salad or coming straight out of the oven with a baked gratin.

The manufacturer used heat-resistant glass, making it durable for baking and cooking. As with all glass bakeware, the primary safety rule is to avoid extreme or sudden temperature changes (thermal shock).

Do not place a frozen dish directly into a hot oven, or a hot dish onto a cold, wet surface.

Always preheat the oven completely before placing the dish inside. Use to serve a fresh green salad or as a baking dish that serves oven to table purposes.

Termocrisa was Mexico's answer to Pyrex — a heat-resistant glass bakeware brand that became a staple of mid-century Mexican kitchens. The company later rebranded as Vitrocrisa and was eventually acquired by Libbey Inc. in 2006. Their honey gold and amber glass pieces from the 1970s and 1980s are now increasingly collectible, prized for their warm colour palette and solid construction that rivals American and European contemporaries.
