Tableware: Langenthal Swiss Porcelain "Morning Glory" Creamer Pitcher

Manufactured in Switzerland by the renowned porcelain works of Langenthal, this heavy-gauge vitrified porcelain vessel belongs to their celebrated "Morning Glory" collection.

The sleek oval canteen body features a detailed botanical study of trailing coral-pink Morning Glory blossoms and winding green vines, finished with a sharp flared pouring spout and a practical side loop handle. Completely functional as a daily milk server or a striking display piece, this authentic vintage import pairs beautifully as a complete dining service with our matching Langenthal Morning Glory Platter, Tureen, and Bowls and teapot.

The Swiss Langenthal Pedigree: The base features the official green factory stamp showing the striped shield reading: "SUISSE LANGENTHAL", explicitly stamped alongside the production factory numbers "76 31 18". This provides ironclad provenance validation for top-tier vintage porcelain archives. High-Fire Vitrified Body: Thrown from premium, feldspathic white clay fired to extreme temperatures, creating a glass-hard, non-porous structure that resists thermal shock, cutlery scuffs, and organic food staining. Oval Column Architecture: Form-engineered with a heavy, flat-turned baseline footprint and an elegant pulled pouring lip that cuts off cleanly to prevent messy countertop fluid drips during table service.

Original Intended Use: Premium residential breakfast milk serving, individual cream pouring, or high-end high tea hosting. Alternate Suggested Use: A spectacular texturized staging prop system for culinary lifestyle photography, a lovely small spring bud vase on a bedside table console, or a unique holiday gift for a European porcelain collector.

Did you Know?

The historic town of Langenthal became world-famous for its porcelain because the local factories engineered a highly secret firing recipe that mixed pure quartz with kaolin sand, resulting in dishes so structurally dense they could be dropped onto wooden floors without chipping! During the mid-20th century, Swiss families treated these small creamer pitchers as precious table accessories designed to accompany their master breakfast settings. The floral decals were fused deep into the liquid glass glaze, ensuring the soft pink blossoms and delicate vines would stay permanently vibrant and scratch-proof even after decades of daily milk acids and hot country kitchen use!
