High Tea: Denby Imperial Blue Teapot & Creamer

Stunning Denby Imperial Blue Teapot & Creamer — New Old Stock Condition.

A beautiful, authentic Denby Imperial Blue tea set in pristine, virtually unused condition. The milk jug still retains its original factory sticker, and both pieces show absolutely no chips, cracks, or signs of use — a rare "New Old Stock" find, perfect for a serious collector or as a premium addition to a curated kitchen.

Denby has been hand-crafting premium stoneware in Derbyshire, England, since 1809. The Imperial Blue range, launched in 1989, is one of the world's most recognisable and enduring dinnerware patterns. Each piece is fired at over 1200°C, making it exceptionally durable, chip-resistant, and superior at retaining heat for the perfect brew.

Original Intended Use: Serving tea for four with coordinated Denby Imperial Blue stoneware.

More Details

Denby Pottery was established in 1809 in the village of Denby, Derbyshire, England, on the site of a rich seam of local salt-glazing clay discovered during road construction. The company has remained in continuous production at the same Derbyshire site for over 200 years, making it one of Britain's oldest and most respected stoneware manufacturers. Each piece of Denby is still hand-crafted and fired at over 1200°C, producing a dense, vitrified body that is dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven safe — a hallmark of genuine Denby quality.

Did you Know?

The Imperial Blue pattern, launched in 1989, became one of Denby's best-selling ranges of all time and remained in production for decades. Its deep cobalt blue exterior glaze contrasted against a clean cream interior became instantly recognisable in British homes throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Finding a teapot and creamer together in New Old Stock condition — with the original factory sticker still intact — is exceptionally rare, as most sets were put into active daily use immediately after purchase.
