Limited Edition Prints: Artist Signed Limited Edition Etching 'Staplehurst', 16/250

This authentic hand-coloured village etching and aquatint documents a historic Kent lane, detailing All Saints Church and 'The Bell' inn signpost with figures in the foreground.

Framed in its original gilded wood profile with a professional double mount, it offers a refined architectural accent perfectly suited for styling a tailored gallery wall or study.

The artist is unconfirmed as the surname is not legible, and extensive search results have been inconclusive.
Hand-pulled on heavy paper, this piece combines fine line-engraving precision with delicate, hand-applied watercolour washes. Factual confirmation of signature pencil-signed 'Charles …' in the lower right margin, hand-numbered 16/250 in the left margin, and featuring an embossed elephant workshop blind-stamp. The verso retains its original mid-century framing label from Cranbrook Gallery, 21a Stone Street, Cranbrook, Kent.

Original Intended Use: Gallery exhibition and residential fine art decoration. Alternate Suggested Use: Classic focal piece for an executive desk, library shelf, or entryway.
