Tableware: Susie Cooper Ceramic Pitcher
Vintage Susie Cooper "Wedding Band" Pattern Ceramic Pitcher.
A beautiful mid-century ceramic jug from the iconic "Wedding Band" (also known as Wedding Ring) pattern by Susie Cooper, characterised by concentric hand-painted pastel-coloured stripes. The pattern was first introduced in 1932 after Susie Cooper established her own independent studio at the Crown Works in Burslem.
Stamped "A Susie Cooper Production, Crown Works, Burslem, England" — the standard factory mark used from 1931 onwards. Based on the backstamp and pattern number, this piece was manufactured between 1932 and 1964.
Original Intended Use: Premium breakfast table milk pitcher or cream jug for afternoon tea service.
