Did you Know?

T.G. Green & Co. was founded in 1864 in Church Gresley, Derbyshire, and became one of Britain's most celebrated pottery manufacturers. The Gripstand mixing bowl — with its patented wedge-sided base — was one of their most ingenious designs, allowing bakers to tilt the bowl completely on its side on the countertop for hands-free whisking. The Cane & White colourway, with its warm biscuit exterior and crisp white interior, became an iconic British kitchen staple. Finding an Extra-Large Size 6 with clean interior glaze and intact Gripstand base is exceptionally rare, making it an elite investment piece for kitchen collectors and culinary set stylists.
