The Old Jar Pottery (T.O.J.) operated in Benoni, Gauteng from 1953 to 1984, celebrated across South Africa for its vibrant maiolica-style domestic ware. Excellent vintage structure with superb display quality.

Visible Flaws: Minor age-appropriate wear. The original cork lids remain completely functional with typical, natural vintage texture variations. The interior of the pitcher features beautiful, clean glaze crazing (fine hairline crackle lines under the gloss), which is completely stable, non-structural, and a natural, highly desired characteristic of aged vintage earthenware glazes.
